Bought this with no real expectations, but for money I cant fault it.
Starts up in a matter of seconds, one touch recording, one button to take a reasonable 5 megapixel photo, all recorded and stored on an SD card.
If you are looking for a camcorder/camera that you can take anywhere and not having to worry about it too much in comparison to an expensive alternative this does the job very well. Plays back on my TV in good quality (720*480) and also plays with no trouble though my Windows Media Player.
Takes AA batteries which is a blessing in disguise as i am getting fed up with all the chargers i have around the house. I can pick up batteries anywhere on my travels, but i do try and use my rechargable batteries.
Thinking of buying another for my god son as it would make a great gift for Christmas, as he can then capture all those moments you normally miss!!

Very small camcorder, would fit in near any pocket, which suits as il be taking it on holiday (it was bought due to the inexpensive nature, so il not be too annoyed if its lost/ stolen!). Quality seems decent for my needs, just waiting on delivery now of my 2GB SD cards, which i ordered off a different site, because of the extortionate delivery charges by some of the suppliers selling on amazon. Bought this for my stepson, and he\'s very pleased with it. His band are recording their first album for their new record label, and he came home for the Easter break with a load of clips, most of them taken inside and all very clear (it comes with an AV lead so you can play clips through your TV). The resolution is fine for video; it\'s about the same as standard analogue TV pictures. It doesn\'t look jerky either.
He did find that the batteries that came with the camera lasted about 5 minutes, but \'proper\' AAs and/or rechargeables have been fine; it\'s not a fault with the camera. The fact that it uses standard AAs is very handy.
It also feels a bit flimsy, but I think that\'s at least partly just due to a lack of moving parts. And at this price, you can\'t complain.
